CHANGER Parts Ways With Guitarist; Announces Replacement

Reykjavik, Iceland-based extreme metal band CHANGER has parted ways with guitarist Fannar. After two gigs as a four-piece, CHANGER has already announced a replacement guitarist — Unnar, who also happens to be the brother of CHANGER's other axeman, Johann.

Commented the group on the split: "After one great year, we have parted ways with our guitarist Fannar. The split is on good terms on both sides, and we wish Fannar the very best of fortunes with both DENVER and CLIFF CLAVIN."

In other news, CHANGER has uploaded the third song from their recording sessions last summer on their MySpace page. Entitled "Cauterize Your Eyes", the track is expected to appear on CHANGER's forthcoming album.
